The Page-By feature is a helpful tool that creates subsets of data for easier filtering and consumption. For example, you can place an attribute like “Retailer” or “Category” in the Page-By to easily view your report one retailer or category at a time, without having to pull multiple separate reports.

Utilizing an Object in the Page By:

  1. Open a new or existing report

  2. Ensure that the Page-By Axis is visible by looking for a check mark under the Tools Menu

  3. In a report or design mode, drag your desired object to the Page-By section

💡 TIP: You can also add a "Total" to your Page-By by following these steps

Paging By Multiple Objects:

You can page a report by more than one object. If you page a report by multiple related attributes, be aware that order matters. Whatever you page-by first (furthest to the left) affects the elements displayed in the other page-by fields. When using multiple objects in the Page-By, best practice is to place them in logical order, from left to right.

For example, the report below is paged by Category and Subcategory. When you select Apparel in the Category drop-down list, the Subcategory drop-down list displays only apparel subcategories.
