Let's create a Conditional Sum metric for:

  • All the Brick & Mortar Store Inventory by

  • Summing the "This Year Week-to-Date Units On Hand" (TY WTD UNITS OH) metric

  • For just the locations where the SPS_Location_Type attribute equals STORE.

With this insight, help your Retailer better balance and manage appropriate inventory allocations from their warehouse to their stores.

๐Ÿ’กNote: This feature is only available to Power Users and is available in Dashboards Only.

1

In Performance Analytics:

  • Open the Dashboards folder.

  • Click on the Fundamental Dashboards folder.

  • Select the Business Overview Dashboard.

2

Right-click on the (Units On Hand) metric and select Create Metric.

3

Under the Metric Name section on the right-hand side, type a new name in for the metric, such as "TY Store Inventory."

Under the Function: Sum section, ensure that Sum of TY WTD UNITS OH is selected as the function.

If there is more than one Retailer to display in the Dashboard, set the first level to the Customer or Retailer attribute. The second level should be Visualization level.

Click Add Filter at the bottom of the function wizard.

4

Select SPS_Location_Type, check the box for STORE, and click OK.

5

Now the qualification entered is shown as SPS_Location_Type In List STORE.

6

Click Save twice.

The final result should be similar as shown where SPS_Location_Type is only showing STORE data via "TY Inventory Metric" that is displayed.
